Facilitator | Consultant
Growing up an immigrant in the U.S. South, Purvi experienced being the only brown child in a poor white school – and the impacts of racism, unfair distribution of educational resources, and tracking. As a non-profit consultant, she catalyzes this experience to further transformation towards gender, economic, and racial equity.
When do you feel connected to something greater than yourself?
"In a circle, dancing, communicating, listening, sharing amongst folks. A circle offers the chance to begin at any moment, to repair the past, and enact the visions we dream. A circle allows us all and roots to ancestors, descendants, and the work & joys we have in front of us at this moment."
“Purvi Shah so beautifully incorporates love, hope, and healing into the work of this movement.”
